What is a Charismatic Prayer Meeting?
A charismatic prayer meeting is a weekly gathering of Christians to give praise, thanks, honor and love to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Role
- Pray personally and share faith together in order to attain the mission and vision statement of the St. Lucy Charismatic Prayer Community’ (SLC).
- Establish a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and continue to grow as a follower of Christ leading to a faith filled prayer community.
- Develop an environment of love through inclusive acceptance of all people who wishes to belong to the community and poster unity for SLC and the Charismatic Renewal Movement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the SLC Core Team.
- Responsible in discerning God’s plan for the community by seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- The Core team meets once a month to discuss the spiritual and social development of the community.

We can only fulfill our mission and attain our vision through the power of the Holy Spirit, as stated in Acts 1:8 it says: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes down on you, then you are to be my witnesses.”
